What are our objectives?

Our charitable objectives are what we are formally about.

Our objectives are the advancement of the amateur sport of squash among women and girls for the public benefit by creating opportunities for women and girls to engage in squash, running community inclusive events, supporting female coaches and leaders, delivering participation initiatives and providing structured support for clubs to increase female membership

Our four pillars form the foundation of Girls in Motion – without them, this exciting journey wouldn't be possible!

our story

Founded in 2023 by Tom and Sally, whose daughters actively play squash, and Thomas a Level 3 coach, Girls in Motion began with a focus on junior events and has expanded to include women of all ages and abilities. Through our four pillars and innovative initiatives, we're building a community with a strong network of volunteers, coaches and clubs.

Girls in Motion have 3 trustees: Chairwoman, Sally Archibald, Tom Eccles and Thomas Fairhurst. The charity is run by these 3 founding trustees and they are all deeply involved in the world of squash. They are real people who care for squash and the progression of women and young girls within the sport, aiming to move things forward.
