Funded squash coaching qualifications for women

We fund women to become squash coaches. If the cost has ever held you back, the LeadHER Coaching Fund clears the way.

  • ✓ Full cost of your qualification
  • ✓ Your DBS check, paid in full

Why? Because female squash coaches make up about 20–25% of all coaches — and when women and girls can see coaches who look like them, they're far more likely to start playing and to stay. Every woman we fund helps build a more welcoming game.

How it works — 3 simple steps

  1. Apply — fill in the short form.
  2. Get the go-ahead — we'll be in touch to confirm you're in, then you book your course.
  3. Send us the receipt — once you've paid for your course and DBS, send us the receipt and we'll pay you back in a couple of days.

Who it's for

This fund is for women who want to coach squash — at any stage. You don't need to be a top player, and you don't need any coaching experience to apply. This is for you if you:

  • Play squash and want to help others enjoy it.
  • Already help out at sessions and want to make it official.
  • Want to start a women's or girls' session at your club.

What next?

  1. Get signed up online. Find and book your in-person course here. Don’t worry if there isn’t one near you — there will be soon and it won’t hold you up.
  2. Complete your qualifications — don’t forget to tell us how you are getting on.
  3. Deliver coaching and support other women and girls in squash. Join the GIM female coaching community, with the option to volunteer at GIM events.

Sign up to platforms like Courter, which provides an online booking platform for female squash coaches.
