junior meet autumn 2024

The Autumn Junior Meet 2024 was our very first event as a registered charity – and what a way to begin. We brought together 49 girls from 21 clubs, ranging from beginners as young as six through to experienced juniors, all enjoying a fun, inclusive day of squash.

The format was designed entirely around the players. From group activities and friendly matches to skill-based games, the focus was on building confidence, making friends and having fun on court. Every girl received a tournament t-shirt and support from our volunteer coaches, who kept the day lively, positive and welcoming.

This landmark event showed the strength of our growing community. Families, coaches and players left energised, and for many girls it was their very first taste of a large-scale squash event. The Autumn Meet set the tone for everything Girls in Motion stands for – opportunity, visibility and a supportive pathway to keep girls in the game.
