Autumn 2025 Junior Meet

The Girls in Motion Autumn Meet 2025 filled the National Squash Centre with energy, laughter, and a fantastic sense of community as over 50 girls from clubs across the North West came together for a morning of fun, friendship and squash.

From the first whistle, the courts were alive with excitement as players took part in creative team challenges, skill games and mini-competitions designed to bring out the best in everyone — whether they were picking up a racket for the first time or honing their match skills. The activities ranged from quick-fire “Round the World” rallies and serving accuracy tests to team-based problem-solving games that encouraged communication and confidence.

A team of coaches and volunteers kept things buzzing throughout the morning, ensuring every player was supported, encouraged, and, above all, smiling. Families and friends joined in the spirit too, filling the stands and adding to the event’s warm and social atmosphere.

Each participant received a personalised Girls in Motion T-shirt and enjoyed a well-earned lunch and social afterwards, turning the event into much more than just a training session — it was a celebration of belonging and togetherness in the sport.

Girls representing clubs from Manchester, Lancashire, Cheshire and beyond mixed seamlessly, forming new friendships and cheering each other on. The Autumn Meet once again showed what Girls in Motion is all about: inspiring confidence, creating connections, and keeping girls in squash through fun, inclusive and positive experiences.
